Did the rest of the world not get our memo?

We did our kids a serious disservice. We wanted them to realize results aren`t always important, but the message they got was that the work that goes into achieving those results isn`t important. We gave all the kids in the league trophies just for participating, and now those kids are adults who think that they should get the same rewards as the high performers without needing to produce the same results or putting in the same amount of work and sacrifice.Sad really.
