It it just me or is Britain full of common vulgar people everywhere?

I have dual citizenship in the US and UK and I have noticed since moving back here that there is a lot of common and vulgar people here. Seems like no one has respect for your privacy or respects the peace (neighbours). Everyone has to be loud. Yobs are everywhere and it seems like the victims of crime are the criminals. Please tell me Britain isn't like this everwhere or I may be making another permanent move across the water. I have never encountered more violent and agressive people than in the last six years.
