Phantom pain ...... ?

im an 19 yr old female and i had an emergency appendectomy were they removed the reminder of my appendix (the stump) on dec 4th, 2010 and ive been noticing im having alot of pain in my RLQ but there is nothing there so im thinking it is phantom pain. how long is this going to last ? and what can i do to make it better ? also im still having alot of nausea and vomiting what could this be from ? thanks for your help
