What to make to give a girl who just had surgery?

i bought her a hello kitty, balloon, and card the day after her surgery (appendectomy) and sudoku, puzzles, word find to keep her busy in the hospital. what would be some good snacks to make for her later when she can eat solids again? she doesn't really like sour stuff and vitamin c doesnt go well with her stomach so chocolate strawberries are not a option. what are some good ideas?
