I need to block everyone from posting on my facebook wall aside from me.?

I want to make my facebook profile so that I can post status updates, but I want it set so that no one else, even friends, cannot post on my wall. If someone really needed to contact me, they'd send me a message, and I have a decent amount of friends that post vulgar material on my wall. I'm going to be applying for jobs soon so I'm trying to clean up my facebook. I know it's possible, i just cant find it in the privacy settings and facebooks help center is ******* ridiculously unhelpful.
