Post appendectomy question?

On march 10,2011 I had an appendectomy by a laproscopic procedure. I came home the same day and obviously I was sore. I am able to move around more freely today. I am concerned bc before the procedure I had constipation as im in early pregnancy. Well I had to poop so bad today and it hurt to come out, I felt like I was giving birth. Anyways the bm was huge, and ever since my lower side hurts! Some of my incisions are near there, and im afraid I might have ripped something. Also today I've been running a low grade fever on and off, usually between 99.7 and 100.5. I see my surgeon Wednesday, I just wanna know if I should worry.
